How long till Fannie mae rebounds?

Good question…maybe a year or two, maybe never…
The Federal Government just took control of it to keep the economy from sinking even lower as one of the major lenders was about to declare bankruptcy. If they can do a good job with it, then it might be sooner rather than later, if ever at all.
Only time will tell, and there are no guarantees.

i am more worried about the people losing their home because of the predatory lending
this question is a fine example as to why Social Security should NEVER be privatized. It is much better run when it is in the hands of We The People at a 2% overhead with people in the boring green eye-shades doing an honest job getting an honest pay instead of having greedy CEOs feeding at the trough and slobs sitting at their poolsides waiting for dividend checks to come in the mail
