What have Clinton & Dem Advisers who Made $200 MIL at Fannie Mae Learned About Doing a Good Job ?

Thursday Nov 13, 2008

What have Dems learned about protecting taxpayers as you take a ton of money from friends at Fannie Mae?

The dems knew the lesson already. Screw the taxpaper, theyre powerless, & line you own pockets. We’re in power. We’ll protect you. Unless the Dems decide to make you the goat.

I would be interested in your source. Fannie Mae was deregulated and semi privatized by the Republicans, its their basic theory, that everything should be done by private unregulated companies and it has not worked out well, has it, from trucking to airlines to electricity to mortgage finance to oil speculation to broadcasting to bank deregulation, on and on and on, deregulation has been a disaster everywhere its been done and deregulation is a Republican ideal, not a Democratic one.

Maybe you should ask Bush and Cheney that question. They have been running the ship for the last eight years. To answer your question…look at Haliburton. No bid contracts for almost anything that has USA stamped on it for one example of not protecting taxpayers. Lets not forget. Haliburton is tax exempt in the USA for most of their business that they do overseas. How is that for protecting taxpayers. I'm also still waiting for the oil revenues in Iraq to pay for the war and rebuilding of that country that Bush and Cheney promised that it would do. Guess what..it isn't going to happen. You can bet on the fact that Bush and Cheney know exactly where that money is though. What have you learned about protecting taxpayers as Bush and Cheney take a ton of money from every thing that they can?
