Well, we’ve seen the results of listening to that “majority of thinking scholars” that you refer to, haven’t we?

You know, those same “experts” that said the Dow would go to 40,000 right before it crashed in 2000-2002, and who also told us there was no housing bubble?

Maybe its time we start listening to the folks who’ve predicted what using fiat currency would do, don’t you think?

Whether call right-wing neo-liberalism, or libertarianism or social credit, why is it that these kinds of economic ideas have such little credit in a field as wide open and as contentious between different camps as economics? Easy, these ideas are not taken seriously by the vast majority of thinking scholars. The Van Mises Institute of Austria is simply beating a dead horse of ideas not seriously considered in many many decades.
